I've always had a passion for working out ever since I saw my first episode of WWF. I wanted muscles bulging out like the Rock and Triple H. Once I grew up and my interest in WWF faded, I still managed to have a passion for lifting. I purchased my own weight set in Jr. High, however with wrestling gaining mass was not an option. I turned to a Hershel Walker workout routine. 1,000 pushups and sit-ups a day. That did not transition well to the football field which was my sport of choice. So after my 8th grade year of football I decided to become serious about weight-lifting. I went on a "bulking" diet and began a serious lifting routine. I transformed myself from a 6'0 138 lb. twig to a 6'0 180 lb. lineman. Clean diet was out of the question, I lacked proper nutrition guidance. Following my freshman year I became obsessed with the idea of becoming a successful lineman. I went on the "drink a gallon of whole milk a day diet." This diet works...kinda. I ballooned from 185ish to 225 in a matter of months. That's great if your a lineman, not if you want a championship physique. I was one of two sophomores that started varsity football that year and was nominated All-Conference and All-County. My junior year my feats in the weight-room became respectable. 365 lb bench, 450 lb squat, and 500 lb deadlift. By the end of my junior year I had reached my ultimate goal of a 400 lb bench, 485 lb squat and 515 deadlift. All while weighing a bloated 235 pounds. The weight gaining continued throughout the summer and eventually reached an all time high of 243 pounds at a Valaporasio Football Camp..my body was not meant to be that heavy. Unfortunatley, my senior year I tore my right distal tendon in my bicep in week four. All my years of hard work seemed to be ruined. An estimated rehab time of 8-12 months for full recovery. My weight quickly dropped to around 225 and following a routine tonsil surgery operation I reached an all time low of 215. Once I recovered from the tonsil surgery I started eating again, but not working out. I ballooned up to 230 again in order to preserve my college football career. Once I realized D3 tuition is very unaffordable, I turned to bodybuilding. I immediatley started restricting "junk food" and began a high repitition workout routine. The past 3 months I have began to become more involved and I currently reside at 6'0 180-185 pounds and feel the best I have ever felt in my life.
