I've struggled with my weight throughout all my life. Like most people I've gone through periods of dieting and exercising only to stop and gain back the weight.
I've been in a serious relationship this past year and I've gained even more weight due to eating out and making excuses about having less time to exercise.
I recently went on a trip with an organization I volunteer with (helping children in children's homes in India) and while I was playing with the children I realized how out of shape I am. I couldn't keep up and I became depressed due to the realization that my body was the most unhealthy (overweight, no cardio endurance, no muscular strength) I have been in my life.
When I came back home I decided that I needed to change things if I was going to get out of my depression and live a long healthy life. I decided in 2013 I would begin living "clean", which for me means eating clean healthy foods and making exercise a daily part of my life.
So my journey begins and I'm glad I've found a great resource to look to for help and inspiration with this website.
