I met a competitive bodybuilder named Carla Wirths in Wichita who taught me how to push past my mental blocks and make my brain "muscle through" my body's training. She has been an inspiration to me ever since.

I love the energy and confidence that comes with strength and endurance development. I feel good when I can sit/stand with stable posture. I enjoy being able to flex my muscles as an "instant gratification" result of my training. (Leaning out takes time...but muscle development is immediately noticeable.)
