I always loved lifting - got into it in high school but haven't been able to go steadily for quite some time, I just got a gym membership after 2-3 years of not lifting (just running) and whoa - I've got a lot of work to do!

Our bodies house our spirits - gotta take care of your spirit first otherwise you have no energy for anything else! Plus lifting makes everything else better - hiking, running, swimming, biking - and melts away stress. I feel powerful when I work out and it helps me "reset" and feel alive again - especially after sitting in front of the computer too long! ugh.

Most of all, I love the energy lift, the way my clothes fit better, and the definition!
