I was a two sport athlete in high school (football & baseball) and played baseball in college (Abilene Christian Univ). The strength and conditioning program at the collegiate level is intense and my that's when I became more involved in working out.
Then time passed...
A few years ago I lost my wife in a car accident and it robbed my motivation and initiative in just about everything. Academics, career, spirituality, body, evrything; it all went to $h!t. Things got pretty dark and I knew I wanted to turn my ship around, but I didn't know where to start.
So, I started with my body. I changed my diet, limited caloric intake & started running which knocked off 45 lbs. That was epic. I started lifting again 4 months ago to feel better about myself and my appearances. Now I feel better all-around and my life's headed in a great direction. It's been a game changer.
I figure if you can transform your body then you can transform your life . I view my body as a paradigm for who I was, who I am and who I'm going to be.
It's been a game changer for me. I feel better and stronger. I enjoy seeing the progress. I value what I have more b/c I remeber how low I felt being overweight.
And I love the pump.
