It all started back when I was working in an office, in an environment like that it is incredibly easy to put on weight, I went from a 32" waist to a 36" in about 4 months, so obviously something had to be done, I was going to the gym at that point but not with the effort and determination I have now, I'd go in, do a bit of cardio, do the odd weight exercises then go home without even breaking a sweat, that all changed around 10 months ago when I took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge that was going around everywhere and saw myself in the video, I was a mess.
So that's when I started reading up on exercises, diets and nutritions and started paying more attention to my body and now I train 6 days a week, cycle pretty much wherever I can and always give everything I've got in my workouts, even when I'm not feeling 100% myself.
I love working out, especially when you get a pump because it's always something you're chasing, your pump is the future version of you, you will never look like your pump as it is always one step ahead, that's where CT Fletcher's saying comes in "F**k Average! Never be satisfied!" Always aim for that pump even though you know it will always be one step ahead, that way you are forever chasing a goal and you will never give up.
The other reason I love working out is that you are always learning new things, be it by your own research/ mistakes or my others guidance, there is always someone out there who knows something you don't.
