Find me on instagram @Getz_Fitt. My mom was a bodybuilder my whole life. At the age of three, at one of her contests I ran on stage...Ill take that as my first day of bodybuilding! Just kidding! In all seriousness, I got started at the age of 16 when I started working at a gym. I loved everything about it and especially the aesthetics that came with it. After some eating disorders at the age of 19, I decided to sign up for a show so I could learn more about food and health. Ever since then, I have never looked back!
It is my fire. I have been through it all, eating disorders, abusive relationships, etc. Bodybuilding has made me stronger and has helped me push through any hardship I have ever encountered. I am not saying that everyday is perfect now, but I work hard, I put in the effort and time. I am also still human. I have days where I look in the mirror and criticize, I have days where I don't eat 100%, but I am still blessed everyday. Lifting weights has made me go through the process of loving myself and finding more joy, without the weights I would have not learned about myself and learned about loving myself for who I am. I am not perfect, but lifting weights has allowed me to take the steps to living a more joyful life, mentally and physically. I have become a stronger person knowing that I can empower others with what I do and also empower myself.
