I used to play Ice Hockey for a number of years so being slim and agile but strong was always key - I stopped playing hockey when I was around 18 years old and decided to live in live in Spain for 10 years. over the years, with lots of drinking and good eating I started to pack on the pounds - not grossly over weight as I have always trained but never really got in to the whole eating the right foods mentality. I returned from Spain approximately 4 years ago, where I have also been training but not really taking any notice of what I was eating so I always never really got any where. I tried keto, but it just made me look ill all the time, a friend of mine who is a personal trainer introduced me to a diet whereby I can still eat carbs as well as proteins and I started my dieting in July this year 2013. Now I am understanding the relevance of eating correctly, my body has really started to change.
I love working out and seeing physical results, I enjoy working out my foods and seeing what different impacts this has on my body - the gym is the only place I can go to where I stick on my ipod and completely zone in and focus at what I am doing - its kind of an escapism for me - I forget about all the stresses in life.
