My interest in working out began while competing on my high Highschool wrestling team. Growing up on the beach in Southern California, I had always been involved in board sports such as skateboarding, surfing, and even snowboarding. Although I stayed fairly active growing up and grew to be strong and well coordinated, my nutrition has been absolutely horrible for as long as I can remember. I would go long periods of time without eating and finally binge on something unhealthy.
After years of engaging in a college/party lifestyle and then an intense semester of engineering courses I had wrecked my body by hardly eating well, skipping sleep for exams just about every week, and sitting around lethargically studying. I decided that I wanted to feel/look/be my best so I consulted a personal trainer who had experience in coaching winning fitness and bodybuilding competitors. He set me up with a strict, yet simple, nutrition/supplement/training plan. I aim to be consistent in this endeavor and hope to achieve a healthier body, better physique, and sharper mind.
I love bodybuiling and working out for so many reasons...Mostly for the boosts in health, fitness, physique and ultimately success.
