I am going to be truthful in this post. I started working out to survive. It was as simple as that.
I have been extremely sick for a few years. Having cancer twice it has been a tough battle but I am glad I won!
I had great doctors, yet I was tired of the cycle of in and out of the hospital. I wanted to turn this around. I thought with healthy food, meditation, and challenging my body physically, mentally and spiritually - I would see change outside and inside.
The hardest thing I ever did was survive. That was the first step towards heath and FREEDOM!! This will be the second.
Please understand, when I started I was 5'3 and weighed 224 -225 lbs. I was having trouble breathing and had all the physical problems I mentioned above. My BF% = 43 (according to personal trainer).
I love working out for when I am in the gym or outside I am no longer stressed. I have no worries about today or tomorrow.
I feel strong and alive.
When I get a glimpse of myself in the mirror, the woman I see is not in her 50's, she is young and vibrant.
