I've always tried to be fit. I run and I did P90X, which I loved. But I really would like to just start building muscle. I started following Jessie Hilgenberg on Instagram... Wow! What inspiration for me. I have had three kids and I want to be strong again. My foot has been giving me problems so I had to back off running. Well I gained a couple pounds and my jeans are too tight, but I can't run as far or long. Something needed to be done! I couldn't afford a gym membership and then my husband lost his job and we moved to southern Utah. Living with my in-laws right now is humbling but they have a rec center with a pool, weights, treadmills, bikes and elliptical. I can swim and so I have started to do that for cardio as well as lift. I've made it one week and realize I need a community that will cheer me on! I am 38 years old and I want to look tight and fit by 40... Maybe even big!
