I was just generally unhappy with my overall appearance, body shape to be more exact, and I decided enough was enough and I had to make some changes. I first started with eating right, cutting back on my calorie intake and doing HITT training for about 6 months.Unfortunately a bad flu struck me and I lost some motivation to work out and fell into a rut. I was pulled back out of that rut shortly after with a fresh new workout, this time focusing on building lean muscle, and man did I LOVE IT! I became addicted and I actually looked forward to my daily workout. I was loving my results until I got very bad intestinal and digestion issues that disabled me for a little over 3 months. Of course with my lack of exercise, especially with the hardcore stuff I was used to,my body started piling on some very unwanted fat. This weight gain gave me the drive to get back in there and really kick some ass this time (my own!) I am determined to get the body of my dreams this time around and encourage my family to live a healthier lifestyle along side me!
I love working out because it gives me an extreme sense of pride and satisfaction when I see my body change overtime. It has opened my eyes to so many of the bad habits I was using before I decided to get fit. I really feel like I'm accomplishing something when I finish a workout, and something I might add, that a lot of people tend to skip in their daily routine. I feel like one of the select few that is making fantastic choices for their future when I work this hard. I only wish everyone could feel this good about working out!
