I've always been extremely small, to the point of being nicknamed "Toothpick" back in the day. Being massively underweight my entire life, I got pulled into quite a few fights as people would think I didn't know how to defend myself, when that's actually what I specialized in when I was a teenager. Even though I probably lost about 50% of the fights I was in, those people knew to never f*** with me again. Before college I was doing daily push ups and sit ups (50 each in the morning, 50 at night), so although I was tiny, I still have strength beyond my size. Thinking this was going to last without working out, I stopped physical activity almost all together in 2008 until roughly 2013. I went from being skinny-strong, to skinny-fat, with little to no muscle on my body but no weight gain either. From 2007 - 2011, I did pole dancing and got into hula-hoop. The pole dancing at least made my arms not useless, and helped combat my solitary lifestyle (God damn video games..). In 2013 I started hiking a bit and getting some use out of my legs. 2014 - started focusing on hardening the core again, getting back into pull ups, and dabbling in weights. Throughout this entire time, from age 14 till last Nov (2014), I was a cig smoker as well.. meaning running was a far off dream. I quit and within 3 months (Feb 2015) could smell and breath again, which helped me get into jogging and trail running. In Feb 2015 I also started on my Isagenix journey, which completely changed my life (mindset, health, internal issues, etc). In March 2015 I started lifting and I haven't looked back since. I want to reach my peak and help others reach their's as well.
I love the feeling of my muscles working, ripping, rebuilding stronger every time. I see myself in my dreams how I should look so having that mental image, I'm working my ass off to get there. I love the journey, the experience, the people I have met and the people I will meet. I want to help people get motivated; If I can do it, anyone can. I've pushed through some extreme health issues in the last ten years and reversing that damage is a huge driving factor.
I'm working towards being a personal trainer, yoga (and hoop-dance and pole dance) instructor, stage dancer/ aerial artist (already do this but not as much as I'd like), and singer (see links below).
