I've always had a fascination with working out. I remember back when I was maybe 6 and would lift my Dad's barbell with all the weights on it. My little brothers couldn't so I thought I was a STUD!
Growing up Rocky, Arnold, and The Hulk were my idles.
I started serious lifting when I was a Freshman in High School for football, track, power lifting, and wrestling.
This continued until the fall 2010. I took on a new position that was very stressful and I worked a ton of hours. I stopped working out and started eating fast food to deal with my stress. If you ever want to gain weight fast, that's the plan to follow!! I then got let go from that job the next summer. That kinda messed with my head some. I did find a new job, but had to move to a different city with no friends. So I just laid on the couch and didn't eat healthy. I did go to the gym a few times. But for the first time in my life, I felt embarassed to be in the gym. All these fit people and I'm the "Fluffy" one!!!
I just really like working out. I love the rush after a hard workout. I found over the years that it's the best way to relieve stress and be ready for whatever life throws at you. When you're in good physical condition, a new demand in life is easy to conquer! When your fat & out of shape, even easy things like mowing the yard can wipe you out for the day. Which is what happened to me all last summer.
To quote Arnold, "I'm addicted to da Pump!"
