My husband is started getting into shape about 2 years ago. For some reason at that point in my life I wasnt ready to hop on the band wagon just yet and commit to living a healthy lifestyle like I had in the years past before moving to Chicago to pursue a performance career. Though my husband started working out really just to get in shape, his results were amazing! He completely transformed his body and since has been very successful at competing and he is now looking at a bright future in Body Building. Seeing his passion and success made me so happy for him and it also sparked a fire in me to take my life and body back and control what happens to it for once. I hope to one day compete on the same stage as him and do competitions with him, but for now am just looking forward to developing a new healthier me!
I love to workout because it gives me more energy, helps me to blow off steam and builds my self confidence. Not only has it shown me a new respect for myself but for my husband as well, now that i see that its not just about changing your body but creating a new lifestyle that makes you a stronger, disciplined and dedicated person. It helps transform me to someone I am proud to be and look at. I now love living in my own skin.
