I grew up always over weight and was picked on in school. I was never shown clear examples of good eating habits. I honestly was raised by the motto "get another plate, your a growing boy". When I turned 14 I started exercising, although i wasn't lazy and I was a very active kid. So at age 14 6ft 260lbs I started with a 45-60 min workout right before i got ready for bed. I did countless sit-ups, push-ups, squats, and dumb bell lifts with my 2 20lb bells. I got down to 205lbs and was very fit but still fat. I never got the eating part quiet right. I guess thats what happens when you're raised on white potatoes, mac n cheese, biscuits n gravy and all the junk food you could want. In high school I took weight training every year although I learned good form I never made good gains for my effort. I did love weight training , but my eating habits were very poor and I only ate once a day to reduce my calories. After high school I decided I was better off partying and with that life style the weight wasn't being watched just the pants getting bigger. I started a job in a major e.r. in middle Ga. in 2007. At that moment I stepped on the scale and at 298lbs I didn't feel too great. To top it off my blood pressure was borderline hypertensive. I decided to change my diet and lifestyle.
I enjoy feeling great after a workout and like having to ability to be active in sports and general life adventures. I love the way it feels to lift heavier, rep more times and run farther. Its to awesome to look at how the impossible is not so impossible for the human body.
