I used to workout like crazy when I graduated high school. I didn't understand the ways to build muscle back then. My nutrition and training were very poor. In 2005 I got engaged and weighed about 160lbs soaking wet with a 30 inch waist. I got married in 2006 and started to put on weight, and not the good kind. I had a gym membership that was never used and the motivation just wasn't there. Beer and wine became a big hobby of mine for about five years. One day I had enough and got up off the couch and got a gym membership. This time I took it seriously, VERY seriously. I researched suppliments, exercises, and nutrition. Went from 230 lbs to 194lbs in about 5 months and never looked back.
The physical changes are amazing. Everyday I can lift and push myself that much further. I love the compliments and hearing "Hey, where'd your gut go?". Overall the mental and physical feeling is awesome.
