My journey started in the winter of 2012 I came across a FaceBook page talking about competitions and transformation. This struck a curiosity to me and so I made a consultation appointment. After meeting with Big Jon Fitness I instantly fell in love with this group of coaches and family. They truly became my biggest support through many different struggles in my life. The Big Jon Fitness family still is a part of my life to this day and will always be because of the family oriented atmosphere they provide. In the spring of 2013 I tried to compete but was taken back by a harsh injury to my back, then from there I tried again in the fall of 2013 and was diagnosed with gallbladder dieses. With my journey I have overcome a lot of fears but am ready and felling better than ever to continue my journey in the Bodybuilding world!!!
Working out and eating healthy is not just a way to lose weight but for me it is a lifestyle. My fitness life has become a part of me. It also has instilled a great foundation for my children to understand the difference between healthy and not. Working out and staying healthy has been an outlet for mental, physical, and spiritual strength. It allows me to be the best I can and make it through pretty much anything. I also like the competitive side to it to have a hobby and influence on other people around me. I want to inspire and motivate people to be healthy and live their life to its fullest capacity
