I've always enjoyed working out and exercising but over the past few years with a hectic and exhausting job I never really found the time much less the energy to work out. In April I gave birth to a wonderful and healthy baby girl but was so crushed by all the weight I gained, almost sixty pounds. The first month was great I was able to shed almost 20 pounds with diet changes alone but then I hit a plateau. After two months I am still at that exact same weight and I realized if I wanted to accomplish my goal of losing the baby weight plus my original 30 i was overweight before i got pregnant, that i need to push myself hard to work out and get my body back to where I feel comfortable in my own skin.
The main reason I love working out is for the endorfine release I feel when I exercise. Exercising gets my energy levels up while cheering me up and if you have ever been extremely overweight you know how hard you are on yourself because you hate your body and how you look and exercising helps with both those issues! I get in better shape and I feel better when I work out. I love jogging but unfortunately have some back issues that have crept up so I have to stick to low and no impact exercises which is ok because I've always likes lifting weights I just have to find a good cardio replacement for jogging. So well see!!
