From 49 and fluffy to 50 and fabulous is my motto....We are never too old to attempt new things regardless of our physical or mental state. As a young girl I played every sport imaginable, having three older brothers to compete against was challenging for me but I loved every moment, especially when I beat them due to their being older than myself and bigger..
When I look back 6 months ago due to shoulder fracture leaving me with a floating bone chip, 3/4" tears in the meniscus and a shattered clavicle (three years ago) coupled with some lower back disc bulging which had occurred 5 years ago, I could barely hold on to a coffee cup without dropping it and over the past two years I had gained some weight. I refused surgery and have successfully been able to work my way back with some modifications to my fitness regime in since June of 2013.
My daughter Jennifer motivated me to get active again and take control of me... Thank you Jennifer ..... (Ha Ha I am turning my butt into a chia pet and either I will grow hair or grow a butt) Let the Bulking begin....
For my entire life I have been physically active and stopped due to injury. It is time to get back into the world of fitness. Regardless of your age it is possible to find that Beast Mode deep within yourself. My daughter is preparing to compete in fitness competitions and I thought it might be fun to do it along side her if it is possible due to my injuries *naturally I would fall into the older category" and she would be in the young one but what a fun way to spend time together as mother and daughter.
