I was a two year wrestler in high school (junior and senior years). After wrestling, I decided that I wanted to build some muscle and go for my school's 160 benching club for girls! The high school football coach, a former bodybuilder, trained me in the weight room. He saw that I had the capability of gaining a lot of muscle...fast! He showed up with the papers for a bodybuilding competition that summer and convinced me to do it. I've been in love with the sport ever since!
Bodybuilding is more than just a sport. It is a lifestyle, a passion, and takes a lot of determination. I love pushing myself to my highest potentials and being STRONG. Working out and being healthy have given me goals that I did not have just three years ago. Before I wrestled, I was a dancer, but not that serious of a dancer to care enough about nutrition and being healthy. Bodybuilding has given me a chance to help change the world for the better and live a positive, healthy life!
