For years, I've "been on a diet." I'm still "on" one, so what's that tell you?!? I've been overweight 95% of my life. For about 1.5-2 years around 18/19-years-old, I was around 175 lbs. That's the smallest I've ever been in my adult life. Currently, I weigh the most I've ever weighed (& I gave birth to two children & still didn't weigh 326 lbs.).
Anyway, I know that I have potential to really make some gains in the muscle department. My problems are overeating and being inconsistent. Plus, we all know that making gains won't do me any good with all of this fat piled around my body. So, I've got a lot of work to do.
I'm determined to be in the best shape of my life by age 40. (Currently, today's date is April 25, 2014, I am 36 years old.) While I've set that ultimate goal at age 40, I'd like to be near my goal weight before that birthday. I'm thinkin' 38!
I really like feelin' strong. It's one thing to be really overweight (morbidly obese) and people think you're strong b/c you're big. Which, BTW, I'm NOT as strong as I look.... BUT I wanna flip the script. I'd like to be leaner & stronger than people imagine. I wanna be my own superhero - for real!
