Using the weight room was the only thing to do while deployed on the ship. I got injured after 8 years with the Navy, got a bum back so they kicked me out. This injury has limited by ability to weight lift, at one point in time i lifted only for pure strength and i loved it!!! But now some days i must use a cane to get around. I decided to lose some weight and get fit to help myself out, fell in love with physique and now i got a bug to get on stage one day.

After a few years of learning how to move about and exercise without getting the back pissed off, i have been able to strengthen core and lower back muscles. Have not used a cane in a year and almost able to lift normal again, I was able to start squatting for the first time in 5 years, i am however to afraid to attempt any dead lift.
