I've always been interested in fitness since an early age....staying healthy through school and then life, relationships and careers get in the way of regular exercise....
I always ran.....just never that often....
Then, come my 27th year on the planet I had an watershed moment; I was getting nearer to 30 and felt unfit. Although I was never overweight as such, I was quite skinny in my frame, I felt that I could achieve much more...
So.....I ran more regularly.....
Illness blighted that at times, but I did the best I could....
Then I found the wonders of entering races! My goodness, what a thrill!! My first race - a 10k one - and I finished 238 out of 800! I was sooooo jazzed on that!!
I soon fell into the home DVD workout regimes that we have seen on info-commercials.....and got great results from the various HIIT and weights regimes but felt that I hit a plateau....
For the past 3 months I have solely been involved with more weight-based activities, which has led me to this website and the resources here....
At the age of 43 now I am beginning to make more headway with my results...adding approx 1 1/2 - 2" on most of my upper body measurements.....
Onwards and upwards!!

I want to be healthy.....I want to live an active life and it's fun to run rings around people that you have 20 years on!
Staying fit, strong, flexible and with great endurance is what I aspire to have...
Be a role model.....I've always been told that I'm the healthiest vegetarian that many of my peers know....and I want to be the fittest!!
