To get stronger for competetive combat sports I started lifting weights. After I stopped competeting as an amateur in 2010 due to injuries, I was forced to take an extended period of time off, and came back to it mid 2012.

It's a way of continually improving and challenging yourself. Every single day, you get to feel like you're working on something that can change your life in many different ways and that this may one day get you to where you dreamed of being.
