I have always been the athletic tall thin girl with no shape to her. I finally decided to change that and started up the Insanity Workout DVD. After getting fit, it was time to start adding some size. Bought a gym membership and started weight lifting. I've been learning so much through this process and building muscle has been such a challenge! The workout community is such an inspiring group of people and I haven't met one person yet that isn't willing to help me succeed with my goals.

I love weight training because of the feeling I have during and after a workout. It feels great to know what I can push my body to do. It's that rush of knowing I lifted a heavier weight that day. Or even knowing more about my body and how I should feed it and challenge it. Looking good in my swimsuit is a definite positive too!
