I've always had a thing for the gym. I did it off and on since high school but I didnt really get into it religiously until my 2nd deployment to Iraq in 2005. It was an eye opener for me and I decided I had to be in better shape than the rest. Now I want to compete and hopefully have a chance to be a spokesperson for some fitness group.
I love it because I feel so good after I do it. I wake up every morning and hit the gym at about 5:30 am before I go to work and I feel great all day long. When I dont work out before going to work, I feel really sluggish and cranky. I also love it because it helps me relax and I'm in my own world when I'm in the gym. Also, I use to be a personal trainer and I enjoy helping people reach their fitness goals. I love when someone walks up to me and ask me a question about fitness because they like the way I look.
