I've always worked out, I've always ran and done a ton of cardio. When I got to college I started lifting with my then boyfriend (now husband). It became something I loved. As the years have gone on, I don't have as much time to dedicate to the gym but I'm slowly getting back to it and would love to see a transformation to my body. I had my son 2.5 years ago and it's true what they say having a child really does change your body. While I've never been overweight or "out of shape" by society standards, I know where I used to be, where I was, where I am and where I would like to be. So... this is my journey to where I would like to be. The older I get, the harder it is, I need all the motivation, support and tips I can get!
I work a very stressful job (as many people can say), I work around criminals and need/want to be in shape to defend myself and others. I love the gym/working out and lifting because it's "me" time. I can destress and sort through things, get away from everything and just be. I am a wife, a mother, a sister and work full time, I commute 2 hours a day... so, with all of that, the gym is just for me, it's my haven and it's what keeps me sane. Not to mention I LOVE to see gains and see how strong I can get. Nothing feels better than being able to walk into a gym, being a petite woman and hit some major weights...
