I got into bodybuilding because I missed being an artist. When I was younger I loved to draw. Color was important to me. This gives me the feeling of being a beginner. Like the first time you played guitar. It's really fun.

I feel I was destined to be a bodybuilder. One of the first books I ever bought was Dynamic Figure Drawing by Burne Hogarth. The only course I took outside the colleges I went to was Anatomy at the School of Visual Arts. But I really got it from Boris Vallejo.
