I have always been active, played sports all through highschool, however college was a rough patch (too much partying first two years). I played club volleyball all 4 years, walked to most places on campus for exercise and started teaming up with a friend and hitting the gym the last 2 years. After college I kept with my workouts and found an amazing gym that had les mills which I loved. Although monthly membership was getting to be a little much so joined the infamous planet fitness, which I am still at today. I make my own workouts and have learned alot through so many websites like bodybuilding and other sites that talk about HIIT workouts (MY FAV) Recently with in the last 2-3 years better nutrition and variety of workouts have increased, I am not 100% there but im thankful I am healthy and active. Since I have fluxuated the last 3 years with 10-15lbs of weight I am finally making my page here to help stay on track and join this new competition.
I love the feeling of satisfaction and happiness after an amazing workout. When I miss 2-3 work outs because of my busy schedule (I know not an excuse) I feel awful. I always have energy though and always in a great mood, and I associate those feelings with my healthy choices. I workout not only in the gym but I am a huge fan of parks with stairs, hiking, kayaking, roller blading, VOLLEYBALL, soccer and im sure there are plenty of other activities I am missing.
My favorite workout is definetly squats, although believe it or not burpess and push ups are becoming a new fav, I love the results I'm seeing from them as well :)
