I started learning how to train through my competitive volleyball experiences. As a Division 1 Collegiate athlete, I had the opportunity to learn how to train strength, speed and more with incredible coaches. They were fantastic and taught me so much that I still use today. However, I have not made a serious commitment to my diet or training since those college days. Now at 36, I am aiming for the best shape of my life! Recently I left the work world and am now mainly focused on the roles of wife, mother and training my body to be at my best so that I will live with vigor and joy.
I love working out because the action makes me feel alive and purposeful. When I workout, I feel happier and more energetic, therefore I have better focus, attitude and accomplish so much more each day. The results of this even seem to make my relationships better!
