I got started working out and training during highschool, I've always loved to work out. And always have to help get rid of stress or anger, after something tough came up. It give me an outing to relieve it in a safe way. I played soccer growing up, and a couple years playing baseball. I always enjoyed swimming during the summers, and going for runs. Mostly long distance. It wasn't until the last year that I found bodybuilding.com. And that was used in my fitness class in school, where I first learned in our weight room. At first I didn't see bodybuilding.com as I do now, but after awhile I got hooked! And right then and there I had started on my journey. I developed a love and passion for it and learning about different training methods, exercises, all the major muscle groups, nutrition, macronutrients and so on. I always really liked looking through the transformations and learning about what they did to get there. My favourite part actually is the Motivation section, because thats something that I always lose after awhile.
Now I'm more serious about it, being more educated...and my training regimen is definitely better than it was when I started out.
Though there's days when I really don't feel like working out at all, I truly enjoy it and have fun while doing it-for so many reasons. It keeps you regimented, by getting acustom to waking up early in the morning, eating breakfast upon thirty minutes of waking up, going to sleep early, instead of going out and going to some party. Etc...
love the satisfaction I feel when reflecting back on myself and my life, and just feeling great, healthy and happy. And it also keeps my nutrition in check. After training as hard as you do, suffering, pushing yourself, sweating...the last thing you wanna do is eat poorly. Because I always feel guilty eating unhealthy after all the hard work I've put in at the gym. Its just not worth it to me.
It pays off too, when you start inspiring others around you, who see your dedication to this healthier lifestyle. Last week I got my dad jogging with me. Its a great feeling to inspire others to live this healthier lifestyle, not only paying off by bettering your physique but getting others to change their way of life.
Last points would be: That it relieves tension/stress. And let out that "Inner animal"
Gives you something to strive for and to get better at.
Reaching goals that didn't seem attainable.
Makes other things in your daily life when you're fit and strong!
That natural high as Greg Plitt explains it. Reaching failure, and that feeling of being unstoppable and just amazing.
I LOVE to TRAIN and will never stop. :)
