I've been active in sports and fitness my whole life. I started racing BMX bikes when I was 4 years old and I was hooked with sports from then on, playing football, baseball, wrestling, and running track. After High School I joined the Army my fitness level was increased dramatically. Soldiers are some of the best athletes in the world*. However, over the last 2 or 3 years I have suffered a string of injuries that have kept me from keeping my fitness level up. On top of that, when my wife was pregnant in 2011 I was stationed in Germany and before I knew it I seemed to be growing with her, if you know what I mean. I wasn't working out because of my injuries, and I was eating all this German food and drinking too much beer. Before I knew it I was disgusted with myself. I don't like looking at myself in the mirror and I can't take my shirt off in public. My wife is pregnant again and despite my injuries I am bound and determined to reverse the damage that I caused myself during the last pregnancy!
*The Army has lowered its standard over the last 10 years, so that doesn't apply to ALL Soldiers anymore, for now.
