I have always worked out since playing sports in high school. After joining the military I started lifting a little more serious and in 2002 I lifted more for a lean cut build. I was weighing in around 155. Since then I have wanted to put on more muscle mass in which I have struggled with at times because I never really stayed focused or had a true goal of what I wanted. At the most I was weighing in at 205 but because of a injury I started running and went back down to the 170s. Now I have have a true goal and a great woman in my life who has helped me stay on track of what I want. I would love to get back up to around 195 of true mass and then work on leaning out and giving it a shot at competing.
Working out and lifting has always been a huge stress reliever for me. No matter how hard the day or what is going on in my life the gym has always helped calm that. When I was younger I used to be a "hot headed" person and found that through the gym I could take out all that aggression and push myself more than I ever knew. Share my love for the gym with my fiancee and buddies is really important to me as well. I have found that surrounding myself with more and more people that share this love has started to push me as well.
