I played 2 years of college football and had to give up football due to a back injury. I took a year completely off of physical activity and really let myself go. In December of 2011 I was 260 lbs with a size 40 waist size. I knew I had to commit to becoming fit. I developed my own nutrition plan, and workout routine and one year later I have lost over 50 lbs. and I am in the best shape of my life. In November of this 2012 I noticed a plateau in my progress, my workouts had become lackadaisical and pizza and beer with the boys every weekend really hindered my progress. I went to the drawing board and really studied up on supplementation and nutrition to recommit myself. In one years time I lost over 50 lbs. I know if I commit myself, this time next year I can be shredded and that's what drives me.
Working out is my escape from school, work and life in general. I crank my favorite tunes and put my blinders on in the gym. The satisfaction of walking out with veins popping and sweat dripping is what I love most.
