Always have be athletic growing up. Played all kinds of sports throughout middle and high school. Never thought about lifting weights even while playing sports.
All that changed in Dec 2004 when i decided to workout with a couple of buddies in College, one of them, was pretty good size and crazy strong - in my head i wanted to do the same thing, so i decided to hit the weights. After one month i quit because i didnt see anything, nor did i even know anything about bodybuilding and i felt it was too hard to get results. Stopped completely, and just went back to playing basketball.
Mar 2006 - Decided to try once again - but this time with my father - he had an incredible figure and of course, i wanted to be just like him. Worked with him for 2 months got stronger than i originally was so i was happy with some of the results. Well, he stopped going to the gym due to work and what not - so i stopped as well. Never went back again and lost whatever i gained.
*throughout the years every now and then i would go to the gym to play basketball - hit a few weights up but thats it.*
Dec 2010 - 4 years later - Not exactly sure where i got the urge to actually go back into the gym full force, but i did. Started hitting the weights, got my supplements and i was on my way. Took MuscleTech MassTech - and that really helped me out - started to form out and started seeing results. I grew here and there, and it felt good - started to maintain my size and continue to push myself. Every so often - i wanted to be like the next man with the vascularity and mindblowing strength and super big arms - i got discouraged and quit for some months - did my research and went back again, this time i knew what i needed to do build my foundation and from there.....and started to form my physique.
2011 to present- through this time - i really started to see it after getting compliments from my friends and stuff because i blew up after being deployed - started working out with a guy that did competitions and taught me some things and it just blew up from there... i thank him for helping me out. And since then, all i ever been doing is doing research and research to know how the body works and what muscles does what and dieting and the whole nine. Still have lots of room to grow but as of right now - i have the fundamentals down...
I gather no matter what - dont quit! Results dont happen over night - work hard play hard. Dedication, Motivation & Consistency is what got me where im at now. Hard workouts - painful sessions are the result of success in the gym...and im still yet to grow and build more knowledge on Bodybuilding.
Sets me apart from the outside world into a world of my own. The gym is my throne, my domain, my foundation!
Feels good to achieve the hardworking goals i set for myself - and once reached, set more sweat dripping goals.
