I married a personal trainer/bodybuilder in 1999. I didn't know anything about working out and eating right but was eager to learn. I started going to the gym with him and at home he would show me the right things to eat. After going to my first show, I loved it! I continued to train with him until I felt comfortable doing it on my own. I began reading Oxygen Magazine and Muscle & Fitness for her Magazine. I went from an unhealthy 160lbs to a fit 125lbs! That marriage ended in 2004 and I moved to Charlotte NC. My love for fitness and working out still remained but my first pregnancy and falling into an unhealthy lifestyle put me up past my heaviest and I delivered my 2nd baby girl in 2014 at 190lbs! I am working my butt off and currently 155lbs. I am studying to become a CPT and I want to work mostly with postpartum women.
Your body is the ONLY one you have, It will be with you as long as you take care of it, inside and out. I love working out and being fit because it overall makes you a happier person. I love the health benefits, and of course who wouldn't like the physical effects?
