I turned 50 this year. Simple as that. Started doing the Paleo/Ketogenic route. After a month, saw a weight set at The Salvation Army for $10 and bought it. Next week, they had a 7' Olympic bar for $20. Now I'm hooked.
Okay, so get this... I have a simple weight set but need more plates. So I'm doing the math.
How many of each plate I need?
It has to be balanced on each side.
So I need at least two of each.
And some I have are 2.5 and 7.5.
So we have uneven numbers.
And if I buy 4-10lb., that'll last me until...
But if I get 2 10lb. and 2 25 lb. I could...
Then it dawned on me, "Holy crap, this is a jock version of a collectible card game!"
I need two of these here.
And I don't want to swap cards between decks so I need two more.
And these four cost as much as these two...
Who would have thought problem solving skills learned at a comic book store could be used for physical growth.
