I have always loved bodybuilding and got into it in my late 30's, then after a divorce, ACL tear, medial meniscus tear, and then a car accident that put me out of work for a year, shoulder surgery(rotator cuff) kinda put a damper on the whole workout lifestyle. I tried getting back in shape and succeeded a few times, but never really kept the weight off and muscle on, so I figure, NO MORE EXCUSES! I love working out, feeling strong and I have always loved a challenge, soooo here I am 55 years young and back in the game. I still have to be careful of shoulder and knees, but feel so much better when I work out. I have been reading articles on bodybuilding.com for probably 15 years. This is my go to site for any questions I have.
I love weight lifting because anyone can lose weight and be SKINNEY, but weight lifting actually changes and sculpts and defines each muscle which to me is a challenge, and I love a good challenge!!!
