I started working out after the birth of my first child. Durring my pregnancy I gained over 80lbs ballooning to a weight of 220lbs. I knew that I didn't want to keep the weight so I picked up a copy of Oxygen magazine and never looked back. Over that year I lost 90lbs to get back to 130lbs and I did it all myself thru clean eating and consistant exercise. About 6 months after reaching my goal weight and my husband coming home from war I became pregnant with my second child and gained about 50lbs. I did better than the first time but it was still a lot of weight to shed. I would not be shut down, 9 months after giving birth I entered my first Bikini competition, The Lone Star Fitness 2011 and it's been a joy ride since. I want to inspire women to live life to the fullest and not be depressed about stretch marks and weight gain. Dont let the fact that are a mom and have had children hold you back from rocking a bikini :) It's all possible and I am living proof that you can have your body back and it can be better than it has ever been before!!
I love to work out because it makes me feel good and look good as well. I believe in "health from the indside out" if you treat yourself right you will be happier and healthier and working out is one of the best ways to pamper yourself. That 1 to 2 hours a day of me time is the highlight of my busy crazy day:) I am a current college student, I have two small children and I work 60 hours a week, if I can make time to do it anyone can, thats just it, you have to MAKE the time, it will never be easy or fit perfectly into your current schedule, you have to move some things around and make a habbit and then you will wonder how you ever live without your daily workout!
