**side note** I am not looking for a date, gentleman..i am a very happily taken woman by an amazing man! Please lets keep everything professional :)
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a very active family! My parents always taught us the importance of taking care of yourself --my dad is a certified personal trainer-- but when I was younger I didn't take it that seriously, and actually had a terrible view on myself...I ended up having an eating disorder through much of my teens and disordered eating from 17 on. I finally woke up when I turned 21 and realized that my habits were detrimental to my health and my future and I needed to change. I won't lie to you and say the road has been easy, but it's definitely been worth it!!! at 24 i have never had more confidence or realized my self worth more. :)
what isn't to love? I never understand why people think that working out is "boring" or "torture"! It challenges your body, mind and spirit in the best ways possible! The feeling that you get after having a great workout is indescribable, and knowing that you're taking care of yourself for not only you but for your loved ones around you is amazing. Not only is it great for aesthetic reasons, but also for all of the stuff you don't see -- your heart, brain, lungs, cholesterol...the list goes on and on! If I can inspire just one person to embark on a fitness and health journey, then I am one happy girl.
