Started working out back in my High School days, began going to the weightroom just to get out of study hall period. When I began i realized that I really enjoyed it, made me feel good about myself and gave me a sense of accomplishment. Later on in the year I started going during study halls and after school. We had local in-house weightlifting records, I thought i could achieve this, so I began focusing on the bench press. On my last day of High school, my senior year, I went in early and met the Phys ed teacher for a spotter and I set the schools bench press record for the most weight benched OVER my bodyweight. It was then announced throughout the entire school during the daily announcements. It was certainly a good feeling and from that day on I knew this was going to be my hobby.
I strive to life a healthy lifestyle which keeps the doctor away! Working out gives me a sense of accomplishment. Setting goals gives me something to work for, meeting/exceeding the goals is one of the best feelings in the world. After working out I feel that my day is complete, I get the best sleep, and wake up feeling stronger than the day before. It's a way of life!
