In February 2014 I stopped smoking after 15 years. February I have just walked several kilometres each day. In march I started jogging, in April in later I started hiking in mountains. During summer I gained some fitness and was able again after 10 years to run 1 hour. In autumn weather changed so I had no option but to sign into gym. From February to Roberto I lost 10 kg. (At the time of quitting smoking I had 112 kg). I tried also Herbalife and some other shortcuts but soon I have realised that I will have to sweat to loose fat and decrease my waist volume.
Actually for last 10 years I had constant pain in my neck, knee and at back. I couldn't breathed normally during sleep, I couldn't commit laces, my daughter was embarrassed at vacation. So one day I run out of cigaretes and went out to buy them. While I as locking apartment something hit me, like internal voice, what if I could try to resist smoking just to the end of town. When I have reached the end of town I had challenged my self how about if I resist to smoke to next town and so on. This internal challenge went from point to point, from one day to week...I have won the war. Now I hate cigarette smoke, I can feel again what is like to feel back fully operational lounges. A month ago I persuaded also my wife to quit smoking and she did.
With that last year we have also changed completely our eating habits. Thanks to several sites we stopped eating fast food and industrial prepared food. Among this sites was also bodyboulding.com to which Google brought my attention as it has plenty of nutrition advices. This is how I have started using BodySpace smartphone tools and doing now my gym exercises based on BodySpace free tool.
I'm very very much sorry that I have thrown away my best years of life into unhealthy habits, but it's better to wake up now as I still have some years to enjoy and be as much fit oldy goldy pensioner :-)
After two months I got addicted to gym and bodybuilding exercises. It relaxes me, during exercises I can think about my problems and my thoughts are much more clearer so I can find easy and fast answers to my problems. My skin is looking better, my self confidence has grown. People see's me as more happier person and enjoys my presence. Also pain in knee, back and neck disappeared. I love to see young people and happy middle age people in gym and positive approach which I can sense there. I like this spirit that everybody wants to achieve something and that this people are living healthy life.
