I started out as a 250 lb 14 yr old. I ended up beginning my weight loss journey at the age of 15 all on my own. I walked on my treadmill everyday and went from being able to walk at 3.0 for just a few minutes to 3.5-3.9 for 2 hours+ a day. At one point I worked myself up to jogging. Through out my journey there have been many road blocks which have caused me to fall off the weight loss wagon. First one was my dad getting sick and having to have a heart transplant and the second one was when I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in fall of 2010. I'm finally fully recovered from that and feeling good. After losing 75lbs on my own I ended up finding an awesome dietitian/trainer who introduced me to weight training. He's tailored my eating plan to suit my nutritional needs and goals I want to achieve. My ultimate goal is to get to the level of fitness Jamie Eason, Dana Linn Bailey, Tammie Pies, and Kathleen Tesori are at. I know with hard work and determination and w/help and guidance from my trainer I will reach that goal!
