Not only has working out helped me to relieve stress, but it helped me recover from various issues associated with my brain cancer diagnosis in 2011. I suffered from extreme depression after my surgery and treatments. Over time, working out/fitness has helped me work towards a more positive body image, and I no longer suffer from depression. There is an endless amount of goals one can set within the fitness world & I am excited to see where I push myself. One of the greatest things I have found in working out, is that my daughter has taken notice of what I do in the gym, and she loves to come workout with me now.
