I had already been active by playing lacrosse when I started dating an old boyfriend of mine; he was very active on the MMA scene and actively worked out. We went to the gym together and worked out, I learned to love it, and then I actually started to train on my own, and found out that I absolutely loved fighting. Since, I have trained in boxing and Jiu Jitsu, with ambitions to focus on Muay Thai in the future... After those general beginnings, I began to research fitness for myself, and have since expanded on my knowledge and actively experiment with new methods, tailor my own techniques, and help others reach their goals.
Basically just the feeling of pure satisfaction and pride I get after finishing a tough work out... I feel happier, cleaner, and almost a bit superior. It's a matter of "wow, while most people are just stuffing their faces on the couch, I did THAT"... Also, I'm just genuinely happy at the thought of being stronger, faster, fitter, and contouring my own body.
