In 2003 I went on a trip to Reston, VA with my husband. I noticed in the pictures we took that I looked heavier. I thought that I was really forgeting about myself - I was always tired and not loving myself at all. I suffered from severe depression because I was letting past issues affecting my life; I felt worthless. I was a very negative person and living a sedentary lifestyle.
I decided to stop the excuses and on September, 2003, I decided to put my health first on my priority list. I am not letting my past destroy me but I am using it as a tool to make me stronger.
With good health I knew everything in my life was going to improve - my energy, my self-esteem... even my passion is fitness. I love to help family and friends to be healthy and that's why I am an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer.
Like my grandfather says - If a person doesn't suffer, he/she won't make progress (in other words, what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger).
