I got started after gaining a lot of weight once I get in my 30's. I was always slim growing up staying active with basketball and occasional working out with weights. As my metabolism slowed down, i could see my body fat increasing. I started out trying Body for Life challenge and was hooked on following a steady consistent program.

I workout now about 5 times a week. I switch program from weights to calisthenics and cardio. I pay attention to my nutrition even more than ever at 40+, it is harder to keep it off. It's a long term journey and loving every minute.

Staying fit keeps you sharp mentally and improves discipline to succeed. You learn how to fight through difficult parts to achieve what you set out to accomplish.
