All my life I was overweight, in 2005 I decided to do my homework (BB forums etc.) and began lifting and eating properly to lose fat and preserve muscle. A year later for the first time in my life I felt body confident and had 'joie de vivre'.
January 2008 - By this time I had left education and was between desk jobs, I began to slack off with eating/training, resting on my laurels, and inevitably put the weight back on over the following years ...
Tuesday 19th May 2015 - A full ten years since beginning my first journey .. I started all over again (starting weight: 353lbs), I got a dumbbell set and began tracking my calories/macros via the "MyFitnessPal" app (limiting my calorie intake to 1800 per day).
November 2015 - 5 months in and 45lb down, regularly visiting the gym, getting that cardio in and still hitting the weights! I'm currently 5lbs away from achieving my first goal of 50lbs lost.
