I started working out in late 2008. I was 13stone 2lbs !! Fat made up most of that figure. I was fed up w/ the me the world saw so I decided to take action. I started training hard in the gym. Cardio was what I focused on. I'd spend 45mins on the crosstrainer 7Days a week. I'd burn 1448Kcal each session. I did floor exercises after each session. I became vegetarian ( lacto-ovo ). I then began to use the weight machines in the gym when my gym instructor showed me how to operate them. By late 2009/early 2010 I'd lost >3stone. I dropped to 9stone 7lbs. My body fat % was at it lowest ever. At this time, I was too young to start lifting. I continued w/ the cardio & started spinning classes 3times a week. I was in control of my diet & had a high level of willpower. Late 2010 my diet dis-improved. I had trouble fighting cravings, especially refined carbs such as cereal. I began light free weight training early 2011. I was afraid of gaining fat again. I visited a sports nutritionist who analysed my food diary & training. He created a diet plan (high protein, moderate carbs-none after 4pm etc. ) that would help me reach my goals. I started lifting progressively around August 2011.
